Mobile provider EE seem to be on a big push to win your business at the moment, with their latest package benefit appealing to those who like to get the latest phone as and when it hits the stands.

The company already offer a Free 6 month trial of Apple Music* and a Free 3 Month Trial of BT Sport* (all with free data), but EE customers can now also enjoy an ‘Anytime Upgrade’ benefit on certain plans too.

EE Anytime Upgrades

EE today added Anytime Upgrades* to all of their Max Plan contracts. The deal basically allows you to upgrade at anytime during your contract after the first 15 days subject to a fee, the size of which will depend on how long you’ve had your contract for.

How Much Will I Have to Pay to Upgrade?

To upgrade during the first 6 months of your contract, you’ll need to pay a one-off fee of £200. You’ll also need to trade in your current phone as part of the deal. If you’re into your contract between 6 and 12 months, then the EE Anytime Upgrade fee drops to £100 plus a trade-in of your old phone. To upgrade after 12 months you won’t need to pay any fee but you will still have to trade in your old mobile. Finally, if you are into the last 45 days of your contract then you can upgrade as normal and still keep your old phone.

Is There Anything Else I Need to Know?

Not only is the Anytime Upgrade deal only available on Max Plans but it is also only available on certain phones. You’ll also have to sign up to a new 24 month deal when you upgrade, so be sure to check out the full details of the offer* on the EE website. You can find out more details about the free Apple Music and BT Sport trials on the website too.

What If My Phone Is Damaged?

If your phone is damaged then you will still be eligible for an Anytime Upgrade but you may have to pay an extra fee, details of which can again be found on this page of the EE website*.

So if you’ve been getting really frustrated at having to wait a full 24 months before you can upgrade your phone to the latest model, then perhaps this new offer from EE will be enough to lure you over to the network.
