Foresters Financial Stocks and Shares ISA Top-up Offer

It’s not easy to find the best ISA deals these days and that’s why we like to share them on this blog when we do find them! With this in mind, I thought I’d direct your attention today to a limited time offer that investment firm Foresters Financial are running right now on their website. It’s an offer that is great for both newbie and also seasoned ISA investors. This is because the offer not only applies to those who are opening an ISA for the very first time, but it also applies to existing savings or investments which are transferred to Foresters Financial from other ISA providers too. So, what is the offer exactly?

2.5% Contribution Top-up

If you open a Foresters Financial Stocks & Shares ISA online today, then this 140 year old financial services provider are offering to top-up your investments to the tune of 2.5% of the value of any contributions you make during this current tax year. This means that whatever money you place into your Foresters Stocks and Shares ISA between now and 5th April 2017 will be topped up by 2.5% at the end of the tax year. So, if you were to add £4000 to your ISA between now and the end of the current tax year, then at the end of this period Foresters Financial will add further units to your plan to the value of £100! This is, of course, on top of any gains you may make from your investments in the meantime.

It is worth adding a disclaimer here. Please bear in mind that when investing in a Stocks & Shares ISA, the value of your investments can rise as well fall and it is possible that you might get back less than your initial investment. I’m sure you know this already but we do like to mention it just in case you are a newbie investor.

How Long Does the Deal Run For?

This particular deal from Foresters Financial ends on the 30th of June 2016, so you will need to open your account online before this date to be eligible for the offer. It’s also worth noting that this is an online only offer, so you will have to make your application online. As we said, though, the 2.5% top-up bonus will apply to the total contributions into the plan made by you, including any amount transferred from another Individual Savings Account (ISA) manager, in the tax year ending on the 5th of April 2017.

So, if you’ve been contemplating opening a Stocks and Shares ISA for some time now but just haven’t gotten around to it yet, then perhaps this offer from Foresters Financial could give you the kick that you need to make the application today and start investing your cash.

If you’d like a little bit more info then here is what Foresters themselves have to say about the offer…
