bright future ahead

The Future Is Bright For Personal Finance Bloggers!

I’m sure you’re all looking forward to the first real weekend of the year so I promise to keep this post short. Can you believe it’s only been a week since most of us headed back to work!

If you’re unfamiliar with the world of Personal Finance blogging, Friday is often a day that blogger’s use to mention their favourite personal finance posts of the week and help out their online buddies. Over the past few weeks though, I’ve seen some really great developments in the world of Personal Finance blogging that I think deserve a special mention because they show that Personal Finance blogging is full of opportunity and going from strength to strength, defying the headwinds of a tough economy.

I really hope the success and ingenuity of the following blogger’s will inspire those who want to make some extra money online to take the leap into Personal Finance blogging! I truly feel that the future is bright and there’s plenty of room for everyone. There are a wealth of opportunities online as the following blogger’s are proving!

Michelle @ Making Sense Of Cents

Michelle has been blogging over @ Making sense of cents for a while now and currently makes around $5000 a month in extra income! You might think she would want to keep her money making secrets to herself but like most personal finance blogger’s she is happy to help others and shares her secrets here!

Jeremy @ Modest Money

In a relatively short period of time Jeremy @ Modest Money has managed to build a blog that is one of the most visited personal finance blogs on the web. Modest Money also now has its own credit card comparison page which you can view here!

Mr.CBB @ Canadian Budget Binder

Mr.CBB runs a fantastic budgeting blog that has a very loyal following. I’ve recently heard he’s teaming up with a few other blogger’s to work on a new Ebook. If you want to save money with Mr.CBB why not give his grocery game challenge a go!

Jason @ Work Save Live

Jason’s blog ‘Work Save Live’ has over 6500 readers! He’s now exploring new opportunities by launching his own Free ‘How To Become Rich E-Course’ which you can get hold of here!

John @ Frugal Rules

I noticed the other day that Frugal Rules is currently co-hosting one of the biggest giveaways I’ve ever seen on a personal finance blog, $1000 in cash! You can enter the giveaway here!

What About Money Bulldog?

Well seeing what others are up to has inspired me to put more effort into my own little sideline activities. When I first started Money Bulldog I set up some Mortgage Advice & Life Insurance Advice referral pages but havn’t really done anything with them. Now that I have more knowledge about how the web works I’m going to see If I can get them to rank a bit higher in google. We also teamed up with zulily this week to launch an exciting giveaway for £145 worth of zulily goodies for our UK & European followers!

I think it’s great that in this tough economy the world of Personal Finance blogging is going from strength to strength and new opportunities are opening up all the time. If you feel inspired to give blogging a go then get yourself a website and share you’re knowledge with the rest of the world.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  4. That’s one great list of Bloggers all of whom are Blogger mates of mine including you. Blogging has turned out far from what I expected and the fans are what inspire me to keep going. I’ve got a great team on my side and when you have people that truly are on the sidelines cheering every single day, that’s worth keeping the spirit of the blog alive. Cheers mate and have a great weekend. Mr.CBB

    • Thanks for the comment, nice to have a new reader! It was a big thing to tell my freinds about Money Bulldog, I wasn’t sure of the reaction I’d get. It’s nice to be able to mention it freely now though and i’ve gained a few extra readers too.
